At its core, aging is a cellular phenomenon. Over time, our cells lose their regenerative capacity. Some become senescent—damaged cells that stop dividing but do not disappear. In parallel, studies on skin explants proved Cellular Supreme of EdelweissTM ability to reprogram old cells. In a skin biopsy sample from a 69-year-old donor, results showed significant reductions in SASP-related gene expression, and an increase in keratinocyte stem cell proliferation. A reduction in oxidative stress markers like HO-1 and 8-OHdG, and measurable improvements in collagen I and fibrillin-1 levels were also shown.3 Cellular Supreme of EdelweissTM was shown to reprogram cells to behave in a younger way, reversing biological markers of aging by up to four years and offering a long-lasting impact at the cellular level.4
Visible proofs of efficacy
Prodigy Cellglow’s efficacy is owed to rigorous scientific research. In one notable clinical study, Asian mother-daughter pairs were studied to explore how a routine containing Edelweiss-derived actives influence skin aging. At a clinical level, researchers monitored factors like hydration, radiance, firmness, and skin barrier integrity using advanced biometric tools over a 56-day period. At a cellular level, they monitored also gene expression and reprogrammation using transcriptomic analysis. The results revealed that mothers treated with Prodigy Cellglow routine tended to get closer to their daughters after treatment.

Analysis at cellular level showed an increase in Caspase 14 and Involucrin expression levels which are linked to maturation of epidermal cells, an increase of Filagrine that is linked to hydration and stimulation of S100A9 involved in skin defenses.
